When & Where Is the Market? 

The Dane County Farmers’ Market is held rain or shine, year-round on every Saturday (except the last Saturday of December) in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The outdoor or indoor downtown market location depends on the time of year—see the chart below for exact 2008 dates, times and locations. The Wednesday Dane County Farmers’ Market is held only in the summer—see the chart below for dates, time and location.

Please note that special events in downtown Madison can affect the Dane County Farmers’ Market schedule. For example, the market may close early for special occasions. Upcoming events and any resulting schedule changes to the Market are noted below in the Special Events section.
